Study abroad - mid September updates and resources

Here are some reminders and resources to help YOU study abroad:

• We’ll have a Study abroad information session on Wednesday, September 18, 5-6 pm in Coolidge 044.
• The deadline to apply for an IFSA (up to $4250) or Benter (up to $5000) scholarship for spring 2020 study abroad with Chatham partners/exchange institutions is September 30, 2019.
• Are you a Pell grant recipient? Apply for a Gilman scholarship (up to $5000) for study/intern abroad. Deadline to apply for Cycle 1 is October 1, 2019.
• Sophomore and junior women with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who have never traveled outside the US/Canada, Vira I Heinz Program for Women in Global Leadership ($5000+ for summer study abroad) applications due 11/1/2019.
• Summer 2020 Chatham field experience application for Costa Rica, Greece and Portugal is open – apply by 10/21/2019.
• Apply for a fully funded language learning program for summer 2020 through the Critical Language Scholarship. Applications due 11/19/2019.
